My grandma wasn't wearing her glasses, pulled the cans from the cupboard, and did the same thing for my dad and his brothers (many moons ago). Apparently, it was delicious and later they discovered the cans in the trash as well. It does happen! =o)

she had to prepare an important meal for the American Embassy, yet didn't even bother to put on her glasses to look at a can label?! Also how was this prepared? She must have been an amazing cook, b/c i (hear) that dog food takes like you'd think, like dog food (and it has a unpleasant odor) I can't imagine if cooked it would even look alright?

i've tried dog food just for the hell of wonder wtf is my dog eating. it doesnt taste anywhere near like what it smells. wet food is saucy and dry food is grainy. both have a very artificial taste like from some kind of plastic tofu or corn meal. don't get me wrong, i love tofu and soy milk but pet food, unless its sun dried or organic, lacks anything close to resembling human flavored food.

I just read an article stating that most people can't tell the difference between canned dog food and pate.
