i know it seriously does look phtoshopped! the side that is supposed to be brighter is actually darker on the skull. it also doesn't look like it is resting on anything

well, if it's not resting on anything, then the other objects aren't resting on anything either. As far as I can tell, they all have the same lighting and shadows…the turntables are darker on the right, as is the skull.

I think it only looks photoshopped because its so shinny and glossy to begin with, and the flash from the camera reduced the shadows. If you look at the bear you see the same phenomenon, but the latter doesn't look photoshopped because it doesn't reflect light as much.

Very fascinating article. it is amusing how backdrop could be twisted in so an enormous amount of a range of ways. These images certainly give us clues, but I guess we??ll in no way know the legitimate story.
