Rubbing in the Loss

the USC Trojans steamrollered my Cal Bears at our homecoming game this weekend, 30-3. i went to the game. my mom knows I managed to get tickets. the next night, however, facebook chat pops up:

(11:40pm) MOM: my dear

(11:45pm) ME: yes mother

(11:45pm) MOM: the Bear lost to Trojan

(11:45pm) ME: i was there mother

(11:45pm) MOM: big loss

(11:45pm) ME: i was there mother
but thank you for reminding me

(11:46pm) MOM:Trojan seems to be very powerful
looks like private college have an upper hand
(11:47pm) UCLA lost to Stanford

    Yes, my dad couldn't resist repeating the final score over and over. I think it was his attempt at showing interest in my interests.

    Some random old asian dude at the jap restaurant kept telling me that Cal lost as well (coz I was wearing a sweatshirt with CAL on it)- it was so funny that parents and old people try to relate to us through their knowledge of football :]
