Happy Family in Sun Shine Day

So my mom was complaining about the pile of stuffed animals I had sitting on the corner of my dresser, and decided to dust them off and put them in the porch to sun for a while because they were getting musty. Then she decided to take pictures and send them to the entire extended family. Note the file name of the single teddy bear.

Here’s the email she sent:

Jennifer has 26 babies. They are either beanny or puffy, tiny or huge, cuty or scary, fancy or simply. She just wants to keep them even now she is a medical school student. Specially the beanny cow which is the first beanny baby she got from grandma.

Today is a sun shine day. I brought all her babies to the porch to get the sun and fresh air.

What a big and happy family!

My mom can't tell what animal stuffed animals are either, but I'm proud that your mom knew that bear was Scottish. I think the connotation of bears in Chinese is that they're stupid, so my mom doesn't like bears, stuffed or otherwise.

awww that's so cute! my dad I think threw away or donated most of my stuffed animals a long time ago… like when I was 8! so in high school I started making a new collection anyway, haha.

Haha! Whenever my mom draws an animal she gives it a cat face… except for cats. She gives them mouse faces. I guess chinese ladies have trouble with the animal kingdom. She also thought cows had four udders. I think maybe she was confused because cows have four compartments in their stomach….?

More likely she was just using the word “udder” when she meant “teat”. A cow has only 1 udder, which is the entire mammary gland. However, a cow has FOUR teats (nipples). Your mom is right.

No my mom actually drew 4 udders when she drew the cow… they each had their own teats. It was a definite fail.

Had been thinking about Lindsey's new vibram fivefingers ever since she posted about them on this blog. When she first sent me a photo of these bizarre looking vibram five,I just laughed at their vibram fivefingers ridiculousness, thinking 'no way I'll ever put those things on my five finger feet! But alas, once I saw them and read about them, I just couldn't stop thinking about them! I had to try them for myself. Last week I went to Blue five fingers Ridge Mountain Sports in Charlottesville, VA and tried on a pair of fivefingers kso. I tried both the Classics and the Sprints, but I liked the arch and heel support in the Sprints much vibram shoes better. Like my sister, I impulsively purchased a pair on the vibram five finger spot. Obviously I had to try them out right vibram finger away, so I mixed a little bit of walking and vibram five fingers running in since I had read many reviews explaining you need to vibram five fingers shoes gradually adjust your muscles to barefoot running.Running in these five fingers shoe is amazing. I actually am not a running fan, but these shoes make it feel more vibram five fingers fluid, light, and fun! After running/walking in them for the first two vibram kso days, I took a break to let my muscles vibram classic recuperate. This past weekend I broke them back out for some hiking and wouldn't you know, I fell even more in love with them. Although vibram flow walking over gravel in my Vibrams was a little vibram sprint uncomfortable, the rest of the hike was extremely fun and vibram fivefingers kso enjoyable. I am wanting to work out in my vibram 5fingers every day!Most of the vibram shoes sale, the fact that it is indeed more harm than good.
