Life Is Up and Down

Posted on July 29, 2010 at 09:55am

I got this email from my mom right after Mother’s Day. Some stuff had happened that weekend that got to me, and I guess my mom could sense it. I think, this is more sentimental than anything, but wanted to share (even if was from a while back ago).

I like letting you know, every time when you have any problem or difficulty, your are not alone, you could call us any time or just come home and talk with us, some time life is up and down, happiness and sadness, we are always behind you, supporting you, that is what family value stand for…

Also, yesterday in Angie’s wedding I almost could not recognized you, because your make up. In Korean drama, they always have a saying ” Woman’ heavy make up made them fake”. So, try to learn natural make up matter, because that will show our truly faces, and men like that for sure, especially Asian men (you can ask Dad for that). The last thing I like to mention is Health- I change my life style, try to sleep early during the night, when you work whole day in front of computer, save your eye, and give your eye and liver a rest time. That will help your skin too. Next weekend if you like to have a hot pot together at home let me know I will prepare for it. Dad and I, we like you have a happy, healthy, and a strong faith life, always PRAY and THANK to GOD. Love MOM

Terrifying Relatives

Posted on July 4, 2010 at 10:53am

My parents are throwing a Chinese banquet as a 2nd reception to my wedding. This is an email from my mom, encouraging me to find out if there will be more guests from my fiance’s side.

Dear Sam,

Talk to Steven and his parents, see if they have any more relatives and close friends want to invite to the wedding banquet on Sunday. Please feel free to let me know. It’s our horror for them to come to celebrate on your wedding.

Love,
Mom

Tips for Keeping a Boyfriend

Posted on June 1, 2010 at 10:46am

Melanie,

Once again, we are really happy that you have a sweet boy friend.

Mom just want to remind you, something may you need to change a little bit when you are having the relationship with Jeffery.

1. Be respect his decision, always ask i.e.. “what do you like to eat or what movie you like to watch…..” not just put yourself first, if he says “what do you like to….” then “I like to…. but if you like to….. I’m really okay with that”.  Like a little woman, don’t like me, talk loudly.

2. I know you are wearing pretty pretty everyday, but just remember the most boys they don’t like his girl friend always be a spot in class (because other boy will notice you also), sometimes just be nature like a normal college girl, of course, when you are going a party with him then you should wear very pretty.

3. Sometimes when you are with him in shopping, don’t be so greedy to see around fashion clothing, if he doesn’t know you very well, he will think you are a material girl only then nothing at all.  Show him sometimes you are very eager to plan to have future internship to earn some money, no ones will like a spending money girl friend.

4. Don’t be lazy all the time, give him a cup hot tea or help him clean up in his dorm.  Or cook something for him sometimes.  Show your talent for cooking (food channel girl).

5. Last thing, show your knowledge all the time, talk the subject his like, if he likes sport then talk sport……

Well, above tips should based on you are really like him first.  Hope you are having a good relationship with him.

Love
Mom

One Ticket for Lube

Posted on May 25, 2010 at 04:15pm

I emailed my mom telling her I had 2 extra tickets for graduation and was giving one to my boyfriend and she sent me this reply:

Jessica,
Ask Gene to have dinner with us on 6/12. One ticket to Lube?
You have 2 and half months for free, what’s you plan?
How about this weekend?
Mom

At first, I didn’t know what she was referring to as Lube but after I called her, she said, “L-U-B-E … isn’t that how you spell Ruby’s name?”

Grizzly the Sexual Pup

Posted on May 4, 2010 at 02:26pm

I left my dog, Grizzly, at home with my mom for a week while I went on Spring Break. During that time, I received a very concerned email from her:

Sometimes he made love with pillow, lick his g-g*. 20 min. ago, his g-g was very long. The length is about my middle finger. Don’t know if you know about these thing. He is only under 3 yrs old. Last year when I was in Taiwan taking care of Ruby, there was a female dog in “?” period (don’t know the english). The smell from her last one week. Thus some male dogs always follow her. Grizzly’s case, I don’t know why he showed this kind of reaction.

*It sounds like penis in Chinese.

Sin City Dangers

Posted on May 1, 2010 at 08:09am

Mike,

I heard you will go to Las Vegas for a Bachelor party. I concern of the event.

One should consider himself with Dignity in Respectful manner. Reckless people might want to put you in Test. Specially while you’re in toxic(alcohol), suggesting you to do some activities that you shouldn’t ever do, like sleeping with a dangerous girl.

When I mentioned my concerns to Simmons, he told me about [Hang over] movie. I’m not sure what is about that movie, but keep in mind that Marriage is one step of Maturity process to become responsible in order to make a Family unit, which include a child. So don’t get tricked by less sincere people’s attempt to ruin your life.

Enjoy your life as mush, but always remind yourself that you have a wide awakened conscious is observing you to guide you in Light to make you eventually an Enlighten one.

I trust you always, but because of my caution I had to mention this.

with great love,
Mom
