The note reads: “Alanna, if I’m not home at 5′ O Clock p.m. please check my Cafe World and click my cook food okay. I love you. Thanks_!”

(334 votes, average: 4.82 out of 5) Loading ...Today, I was wrapping some Nike Dunks, a birthday present for a friend, when my mom came into my room with a handful of gaudy smiley face napkins. She claimed that the napkins’ colors matched the shoes perfectly, and that the smileys would make my friend “happy happy”. She then proceeded to fold little flowers out of them and stuck them in the tops of the shoes before wrapping them. She’s cute. And has an eagle eye for color.

(181 votes, average: 4.35 out of 5) Loading ...About a week ago, my parents and I were flying from Austin to Santa Ana, after we claiming our luggage we decided to wait outside for our relatives to pick us up. Our total flight time was about 4 hrs 30 mins, and my mom was pretty tired. Here is a picture that I took of her ‘resting’ while we were waiting in the cool California air for our pick up. Keep in mind that there were people sitting before she got there.

Not going to let rules against sharp objects get in the way of her in-flight activities.
