This is an email my mom sent me filled with advice on all kinds of protection — from unwanted pregnancies all the way down to dry, chapped feet. She made sure to cover all her bases.

Missy, i am glad you are protected with the pills. is always be prepared than sorry.
when it’s cold, wear sock at home or to sleep ,if you can,use a little hot oilment under neath the
feet palm before you wear sock ,i am Ok,now try to go back routine,

My boyfriend and I came home from college for Chinese New Year to see this waiting for us in the driveway.  My mom says she made it, which most likely means she made my dad build it for her while she stood watching from the window.

I emailed my mom some pictures from my first snowboarding trip and told her
about how my butt was sore from falling down so much the first day.  Her
reply:

Sooo…cute but i wonder about those poles are they got sore from all
those hit from your
butt….haa…haa
